Posted November 26, 2016. Hi.I have a Mondeo 2,0l tdci 2006, yesterday it overheated whilst I was out and the Ecu cut power. Called breakdown service and they told me it was almost certainly the thermostat stuck closed.Today I brought a new thermostat and fitted it, topped expansion tank up with antifreeze and started engine.

So although you have improved its properties it may still be a weak mix. 50/50 would require just over 5 litres. MK4.5 TDCI 140 Business Estate. .

It is accompanied by a 10mpg loss of efficiency. When I accelerate the gauge drops from normal to a quarter and then returns when I stop accelerating.
