Ingeneral i think the DT 900 Pro X have a good sound overall for many genres, especially if you like the neutral signature but you can't afford a more expensive headphones. I’m talking about headphones in general, I don’t own any of the pro x headphones, but I do have 990 pro 250ohm. Beyerdynamic 770dt pro - upgrade to dt 1770 pro
Oneof the most versatile devices you could get for around 120$ is the Sound BlasterX G6. It has way higher output than the E10K , has mic input and is compatible with all sort of consoles. kimsk132 478 Ω 9 mo. ago. DT 990 250 Ohms has the sensitivity of 99 dB/V, while the K3 unbalanced output is 2 V, which means it can drive the DT 990 up to

Id give my vote to the Beyer's because they're open back, whereas the Astros are closed back. The difference soundstage (how wide the audio feels) is actually pretty massive. I believe there's a version of the Beyer's that are only 80ohms so you wouldn't necessarily need an amp for that. The 250ohm versions would definitely benefit from an ampTreshKJ • 4 yr. ago. Yes, yes I do. 1. elektrovolt. • 4 yr. ago. Get the lower impedance version, not the 250 ohms becuase the one will not wok too well with the Scarlett output, looking at the specs. The 990 pro is very coloured,
The770 is less accurate in the low end due to the closed back design, the 990 doesn't isolate you from the room, so it sounds more natural, and less fatiguing to work with for long periods. I've done a bunch of mixing on the 990 and they are a very nice headphone. I also have the 770's I use for people in the studio as a guest monitor.
Ive now seen tons of videos, forum threads, etc. and have settled on the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Premium. Now, I'm trying to make a decision between the 32 OHM or the 250 OHM versions. The 32 OHM version costs around $150 on amazon, and the 250 OHM version around $210. $60 price gap between the two. If I get the 250 OHM version,
